April Wrap-Up & May Most Anticipated Releases

wrapup

Hey Guys!

First and foremost, I want to apologize for not responding to any of my blog comments this month. I literally have no excuse other than pure laziness on my part, but I’m going to get back to blog hopping and responding to comments this month so hopefully I can make up for all those missed comments soon. April went by way too fast and I already feel the humidity rising in NYC. I hate summer and I’m not ready for it. 😫😑

Let’s get started!

March Wrap-Up & April Most Anticipated Releases

wrapup

Hey Guys!

For the month of March, I decided to slow down when it came to blogging and just read more instead. The major reason for this is because I’ve developed carpal tunnel in my left hand and it’s become very hard to blog some nights. Blogging with one hand is no fun at all and while there isn’t much that I can to fix the damage done, I’m hoping that a little rest keeps the pain from getting worst. I did manage to read a great number of backlist books on my TBR this month and I’m hoping that I can somehow keep this up so I can start cleaning up my shelves. With further ado…

Let’s get started!

February Wrap-Up & March Most Anticipated Releases

wrapup

Hey Guys!

Can I just ask where did this month even go?! Like 2017 just started, I’m going to need it to slow down for a minute. February was a great month for me because it was my birthday month! I turned 24 and I ate cake. I am now one year away from my “quarter-life crisis” and I’m kind of excited to see where the big two-five takes me. Okay, enough about me, let’s talk about books and blogging.

Let’s get started!

January Wrap-Up & February Most Anticipated Releases

wrapup

Hey Guys!

The end of the first month for the new year is already here! Where did the time go?! While I want to say that this month has been a great month, I would be lying through my teeth if I did. I’m still trying to figure out how a racist, misogynistic bastard was elected as our president. I’m hoping we survive the first 100 days because hope is literally the only thing keeping me going right now.

So enough with me going off about the current state of our country, I had a pretty good reading month and I decided not to pressure myself to read this year, so I slowed down my reading speed just a bit so I can enjoy books a little bit longer.

Let’s get started!

Hey Guys!

HAPPY OLD YEAR’S DAY!

The end of the year is finally here!  The holiday season is coming to an end and the new year is almost upon us. While 2016 did us kind of dirty, I’m really hoping 2017 is A LOT better because seriously, we could use a little more hope right now!

I didn’t manage to get as much reading done this month, mainly because I’ve been working on my new blog revamp! I’m so excited to reveal the changes that are going to be made to my blog and I think that this new direction is going to make blogging more fun, for me at least. So without further ado, let’s get into this month’s wrap-up!

Let’s get started!

November Wrap-Up & December Most Anticipated Releases

erty.png

Hey Guys!

This has got to be one of my worst wrap-up posts EVER! I literally only wrote three reviews this month, one discussion post and read only nine books. I have failed as a book blogger. But in that failure, I realized that I wasn’t fully loving my blog and I’ve decided to rebrand it. I’m excited for the changes that are about to happen and I can’t wait to share them with you all in the new year!

Let’s get started!

October Wrap-Up & November Most Anticipated Releases

erty.png

Hey Guys!

Happy Halloween!

October was a pretty hectic month for me. Blogging wise, it was crap because I didn’t really feel like blogging. Hence why I haven’t posted a discussion posts within the last two weeks. I have discussions, just no actual time to write them. Personal wise (is that even a phrase ??), I’ve been stressed with work and studying. I’m hoping next month is a lot better, especially since the holiday season is coming up.

Let’s get started!

Hey Guys!

Wrap-up time is HERE!

August is finally over and that means the summer is coming to an end! I’m so ready for Fall and for this humidity to go away so my curls will go back to not being such a frizzy mess. I had a pretty damn good reading month, mainly because of my  binge-reading of the Addicted/Calloway Sisters series. These characters have been so good to me, I’m going to cry so hard when this series comes to an end.

Let’s get started!

Hey Guys!

Wrap-up time is HERE!

I decided to switch up how I do my monthly wrap-up because finding all the gifs was becoming a little time consuming. I’m kind of liking this new format better because I get to see how productive I was for the month and see how I’ve progressed throughout the month blogging-wise.

Let’s get started!

BOOKS I READ:
89

I read a total of 13 books this months, with majority of them being written by one of my NEW FAVORITE authors, Sarina Bowen. I’ve been trying to convince everyone I know to pick up her books because they’re just that good! GO CHECK OUT HER BOOKS IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY!

BOOK REVIEWS:

Feel Me Break by Tara R. | ★★★ | A nice introduction for Tara’s upcoming novel and the story of Chloe and Nick has quite a bit potential.
Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton | ★★★★ |  Fun-loving, super cheesy, and sexy as hell, this sequel did not disappoint and I absolutely adored the main character, Natalie.
Wanderlust by Roni Loren | ★★★½ | A rockstar romance that needed a little more rock and a lot less lust, but was still a fun read.
♥ Right of First Refusal by Dahlia Adler | ★★★ | This sequel fell victim to ‘Second Book Syndrome’ as I was annoyed by the characters and the overall story was nothing special.
Steadfast by Sarina Bowen | ★★★★★ | A heartbreaking second-chance romance that stole my heart. This is my new favorite Sarina Bowen book!
The Ivy Years Series by Sarina Bowen | ★★★★ | A refreshing New Adult series that I would recommend to those who are a fan of sport romances without the drama.
One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid | ★★★★ | A  heartbreaking  and beautiful story with a love triangle done right. I am excited to check out other works written by this author.

♥ Broken Prince by Erin Watt | ★★★★½ | An intense and plot twisted sequel that barely left me alive.

Swear on This Life by Renée Carlino | A Beautiful Funeral by Jamie McGuire | It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

By the time you all are reading this, I have probably already started It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. It’s one of my TOP MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASES for 2016 and I have on good authority that this is yet another tear-jerker.

In all honesty, I feel like Jamie McGuire needs to let go of anything of Maddox brothers. I have a love hate relationship with her books, but I think it’s time to day goodbye to these characters and judging by the title of her upcoming release, it looking like that may happen.

I’ve been meaning to check out Renée Carlino’s book and I want to pick up her new release to see if she’s worth the hype.

That is all for the month of July! Feel free to check out any of the above posts mentioned if you haven’t done so already.

Let me know in the comments which August release you are most excited for!
