Grip by Kennedy Ryan
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

A Boy Like You by Ginger Scott

So I read three emotional books in a row and I’m currently a mess. It doesn’t help that I was listening to Ed Sheeran’s new album while reading these books. GRIP WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! LIKE, I CAN’T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT IT! I honestly don’t even know how I am going to review this book. Review to come.

I buddy-read The Hate U Give with my favorite girls and while we all have our own opinions about the book, overall we enjoyed it. It’s definitely an important book that needs to be shoved in everyones face and I absolutely adored Starr’s family. They were my favorite thing about this book.

Then I decided to pick up A Boy Like You and there went the last bit of my tears. I was not expecting this book to be what is was and I can’t even elaborate on what I mean because it’s a spoiler. I NEED THE SEQUEL NOWReview to come.

Blackbird by Molly McAdams

After reading so many emotional books, I need a dark read as a buffer so I can avoid a slump. Plus, I’m super curious to see if Molly McAdams can actually pull off darker fiction.

Soul series by Kennedy Ryan

I decided to give myself a free week to read whatever I want and after loving Grip so much, I need to read the rest of Kennedy Ryan’s books. I’m dying to see where Kai and Rhyson’s story started and I’m ready for all the emotions!

What are you guys reading this week? Leave me your links down below!sig

  1. So glad to see that you liked THUG. I can’t wait to get around to that book! You’re the second blogger I’ve seen mention A Boy Like You in their WWW this week which is kind of funny since I’ve never heard of it before today, haha. I’ll have to check it out though since you loved it so much. 🙂
