Have fun!

Let’s get started!

Where do you typically write your blog posts?

I write most of my posts in my bedroom because it’s the only place where I can blog and not be interrupted by anyone.

How long does it generally take you to write a book review?

It takes me a really, really long time to write reviews. Mainly because I’m easily distracted so whenever I feel stuck when writing a review, I will pick up my current read and start reading and the next thing I know it’s one in the morning and I have only the intro of my review written.

When did you start your book blog?

On June 30, 2015, The Daydreaming Bookworm was born!

What is the worst thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

Just maintaining a book blog in general is probably the worst thing for me and not because I don’t love to blog, but sometimes I just don’t want to (sorry, not sorry). This is pure laziness on my part, haha.

What is the best thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

Getting to interact with bloggers around the world. I have learned so much about other blogger’s customs and beliefs by just reading their posts, things I probably wouldn’t learn in a textbook and it just reminds me that it’s a big world out there.

What blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?

The blog post I had the most fun writing so far was my Rants & Rambles post, Should I Be Shamed For Reading Smut? I honestly don’t think I could ever top that post.

What is your favorite type of blog post to write?

My favorite posts to write are discussion posts, when you know, I ACTUALLY WRITE THEM

When do you typically write?

Late at night because I work during the day and by the time I finally get to sit down and write a review it’s already pushing 12 A.M. Never let anyone tell you that book blogging is easy!

Do you review every book you read?

Right now, yes. But I’m trying to make it a habit of not reviewing a every book I read and instead just read a book because I want to and not feel pressured to review it afterwards.

How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your fur baby?

Since I write most of my reviews in bed and my dog sleeps in my bed, she’s usually curled up next to me when I’m writing a review. A few times she’s tried to throw my laptop off my lap because she hates when I stay up late to write reviews when all she wants to do is sleep.

When do you write your book reviews? Right after finishing the book? Two weeks after finishing the book?

As soon as possible. I don’t like to push off reviews because then I know I will probably never get around to writing them if I do so.

How often do you post?

I try to post at least four times a week.
