A Beautiful Funeral by Jamie McGuire

Thrive by Krista & Becca Ritchie

I honestly have no words for A Beautiful Funeral other than the fact that this book was completely unnecessary and I really hope that Jamie McGuire gets it together and leaves the Maddox family as is. We really don’t need any more books. Full review HERE.

I continued my binge-read of the Addicted series and I think Thrive may be the weakest installment in this series. It’s basically just Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower retold from Lily and Loren’s POV. I did enjoy the second half of the book more than the first, mainly because Loren’s POV had me sobbing! Review to come.

Addicted After All by Krista & Becca Ritchie

I just started Addicted After All and everything is really intense. Lily and Loren are preparing for the birth of their child, but it’s not easy because the media now knows about Lily’s pregnancy and rumors are flying everywhere. I swear, these two just can’t catch a break!

Trust the Focus by Megan Erickson

Focus on Me by Megan Erickson

I received an ARC of Overexposed by Megan Erickson and I didn’t realize that it was part of a series, so I’m taking a break from my Addicted binge-read and will be binge-reading the In Focus series. I’ve heard amazing things about Megan Erickson’s books and I’m excited to start this series.

What are you guys reading this week? Leave me your links down below!

  1. This Addicted series…so addicted! I’m a little bummed to hear that Thrive was basically a retelling, but maybe that will make it less stressful to read! 😉 I skipped over your current read because I didn’t want to know anything! I’m almost finished with Kiss the Sky. I have a feeling my entire WWW next week will be dedicated to this series. LOL. Thanks for the obsession!
